The information we request from you
Personal data: Each visitor can browse our online store without providing any personal information. We will need personal data (your e-mail) only when you become a member and proceed to order products or if you choose to receive our informative e-mail.
Information related to the purchase of products: The necessary information for each transaction is your name, ID number (to ensure identity with your credit card information after you choose to purchase via credit card), a landline phone number, address (street, city, zip code), shipping address of the order and type of document (receipt, invoice). At the same time, we voluntarily request some information such as mobile phone number (in case we need to contact you directly), fax number and profession.
Document data: In the event that we issue an invoice, we need the company name, VAT number and address of its headquarters.
In short, we only ask for as much information as we need so that you enjoy a unique shopping experience: consistent delivery of the products you ordered, secure payment of your order and personalized service based on your needs and preferences.
In order to provide personalized service, most large companies use alphanumeric identification files, called cookies. Session cookies are used only to recognize that you are entering cafeblue, so that you do not have to be asked for a password on all pages that involve data transactions. These are deleted immediately after you leave cafeblue. Our cafeblue uses session cookies: in order not to constantly ask you for a password when you visit our various pages, we need to recognize you when you enter our online store.
Cookies
To ensure the proper functioning of the website, we sometimes place small data files on your computer, called “cookies”. Most large websites do the same.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit that website. This way, the website remembers your actions and preferences (such as login password, language, font size and other display preferences) for a period of time, so you don’t have to enter these preferences every time you visit the website or browse its pages.
How do we use cookies?
Some of our pages use cookies to remember:
– your display preferences, e.g. brightness or font size
– whether you have already answered a pop-up survey asking you whether the content was useful or not (so that you are not asked the same question again)
– whether you have agreed (or not) to our use of cookies on this website.
Also, some videos embedded in our pages use a cookie to collect anonymous statistics about how you got there and which videos you visited.
Enabling these cookies is not essential for the operation of the website, but they will give you the ability to browse better. You can delete these cookies, or block access to them, but if you do, some features of the website may not work properly.
The information related to cookies is not used to identify you personally and we have full control over the pattern data. Cookies are not used for purposes other than those described in this text.
How to control cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies according to your wishes. You can delete all cookies already on your computer, as well as set most browsers to prevent cookies from being installed. However, in this case, you may need to adjust some preferences yourself each time you visit a website, and some services may also not work.
